PAF gives you respect, awesome training, salary, and you get to work with planes, security, medical, IT and more. Most jobs are for boys only and you gotta be unmarried.
PAF Jobs 2026 Eligibility Criteria – Basic Requirments
- Pakistani citizen
- Boy (male) for most airman jobs
- Unmarried
- Height minimum 163 cm (5 feet 4 inches) – maximum around 188 cm
- Eyesight 6/6 without glasses (some trades are a bit flexible)
- Super fit medically – no big sickness, no visible tattoos
Age Limits (How Old You Should Be)
Age is counted around June 2026 usually.
- Aero Technician → 15.5 – 19 years
- Aero Support → 17 – 20 years
- PF & DI (Drill Instructor) → 16.5 – 21 years
- Security / Provost / Fire Fighter → 17.5 – 21 years (sometimes 23 if you have driving license)
- Education Instructor (teachers) → mostly 22 – 29 years

Medical Test – What They Check
You have to pass full PAF medical:
- Eyes perfect (6/6)
- Hearing okay
- Blood test (no Hep B/C)
- No big diseases
- No visible tattoos
If something small can be fixed, sometimes they allow after treatment.
Different Trades = Different Rules
- Technical wale (Aero Tech, IT) → Need high marks in science
- Support type (Security, Provost) → Less marks needed but fitness is hardcore
- Special jobs (Education Instructor) → You can be older (up to 29) and even married
- Drivers (MTD) → License = extra age allowed
Top Reasons People Get Rejected (Don’t Do These!)
- Fail intelligence or academic test
- Too short / too weak eyesight
- Medical fail (flat feet, color blind, hepatitis etc)
- Fake documents or lying
- Can’t do running / push-ups properly
- Got rejected from ISSB before (2 times = out)
- Any police case or bad character
- Visible tattoo
